Welcome to the team: Uwe Krohn joins MICE DESK as Head of Sales & Marketing

MICE DESK continues to grow and we are delighted to welcome a strong leader to our team: Uwe Krohn is taking over responsibility for Sales & Marketing at MICE DESK with immediate effect. With more than 25 years of experience in hotel sales, he brings a deep understanding of the market, strategic expertise and, above all, the right eye for the challenges and opportunities in the industry.

Sales expertise meets digitalization

Uwe knows the hotel industry like no other. As Senior Vice President Sales at H-Hotels.com for many years, he headed one of the largest central sales teams in Germany. Most recently, he was Managing Director & COO at the MICE tech start-up MEETA-X, where he rebuilt and digitalized operational processes. He is now bringing his concentrated experience to MICE DESK - and with a clear mission: to strategically manage and accelerate the roll-out of our "Rocket" solution for automation in Group & Convention Sales.

"I see MICE DESK not just as an innovative tool, but as a real turning point for the MICE industry. My aim is to turn hotels into partners in a movement that rethinks and massively accelerates event sales," says Krohn.

More than software: MICE DESK as a movement

Our journey did not begin with software, but with operational work in the hotels. In the first few years, we worked directly in the hotels with our own team of over 50 group and convention sales managers - and experienced processes, points of friction and obstacles to growth for ourselves. This experience gave rise to our own "Rocket" solution in 2025, with which we aim to redefine nothing less than the bidding process in the MICE sector.

The right time - and the right person

More than 400 hotels in Germany and abroad are already about to launch Rocket - and with Uwe Krohn on board, we are ready to ignite the next level. His sales expertise, his knowledge of the industry and his tireless creative drive make him the ideal person for this crucial stage of our journey.
